and I'm a first-year PhD Student at Northumbria University, studying making, family learning and fear of failure through science museum activities.
Technically, I am studying for a PhD in Computer Science, but the focus of my research is how family groups can learn problem-solving and resilience through making and tinkering activities - helping children to avoid fear of failure. I'm a collaborative PhD student, so I am research and working with Life Science Centre in my project. I am also honoured to have been selected to be part of the Arts and Humanities Research Council's Northern Bridge Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership.
